Being overslept, Nuo ran out of her house with the most important document left at home! On her way to the interview, Nuo trapped by traffic jam. To call for help, she needed a telephone. Luckily she met a young man in a limousine next to her taxi who has just put off his mobile phone. The young man hesitated a bit then passed the phone to Nuo, meanwhile, the traffic lights change and the taxi dashed away. The startled young man can do nothing but chased after the taxi. A metropolitan romance has thus begun!

The young man who lent his mobile phone to Xu Nuo called Anson Gao, an elite in the advertising field, who comes from Hong Kong. Two years ago, Anson met a Shanghai girl, Fang Fang at Victoria Peak and falls in love. Fang’s sudden return to Shanghai made them lost contact. Anson, for the purpose of finding Fang, shift his work to the Shanghai office.

Anson met his interviewee in the conference room who he recognized immediately was the girl who took his mobile phone in the highway. Bad impression sinking in and Anson could not stand this kind of carelessness. Nuo’s application was turned down.

The newly appointed General Manager of Vision, Mr. Zhou Jin considered Anson a threat to himself. Zhou employed Nuo as Anson’s assistant on purpose to weaken his performance. As Nuo was inexperienced, she brought a lot of headaches to Anson and the two have frequent quarrels.

The Creative Director of Vision, Leslie Tien shares with Anson the same apartment. Leslie has a successful career yet his love affairs were in a mess. One day, a Taiwanese girl Zhao Dai Ling comes to Vision and claims that she’s bearing Leslie’s baby. Leslie can do nothing but let this girl stay with him. Nuo and Anson became real partner through team work.. They started to understand and admire each other despite of the quarrels, especially when Nuo knew about Anson’s search for Fang Fang. Nuo decided to help Anson find his dream girl. The war between Zhou Jin and Anson gets to a climax and as a result Anson is forced to resign. Nuo joined him without a word. They start their own business but have a hard time. Yet, their feelings for each other has grown steadily.

In order to get rid of Ling, Lesile used every trick that to start quarrels. Through long time and painstaking search, Anson finally found Fang Fang. Nevertheless, everything was too late for Fang was now Anson’s cousin Ding Jun Jie’s fiancee. In the wedding of Jie and Fang, the narrow-minded bridegroom announced that he was not going to marry Fang and accused Fang and Anson of betraying him. Anson was shocked yet in the same occasion he realized whom he was really in love with.

Leslie felt upset when Ling’s finally gone and found that she was of great importance to himself. He decided to find Ling and offer her the wedding ring.

Xu Nuo’s best friend, Lin Feng Shou, a bar tender, who has been showing affection for Nuo for a long time. Nuo considered him as brother more than lover. Yet to stop herself from loving Anson, Xu Nuo decided to marry Lin Fung Shou. As their wedding approached, Nuo swished even more that Anson would be the bridegroom. At this point, Shou knew everything and cancelled the wedding. Nuo cannot help running to Anson’s home. All of a sudden, someone is running to her, that someone was Anson! The two hug closely, and finally, Anson pours out his sentiments by saying “I Love You”.
