New TV Transposer to Enhance Reception Services in Cha Kwo Ling, Kwun Tong Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) is pleased to announce that a new transposer sited on roof top of LU Plaza, 2 Wing Yip Street, Kwun Tong will commence services on 18th October 2005. The operation has been approved by the Office of the Telecommunications Authority (OFTA) after a period of satisfactory test transmission. It will serve about two thousand and two hundred residents of the Cha Kwo Ling Road, Cha Kwo Ling Village, Fan Wa Street including its vicinity aiming to enhance the quality of television reception. At present, there are one main transmitter located at Temple Hill and 38 transposer stations providing television transmission services to the viewers in Hong Kong. For residents residing in Cha Kwo Ling and the mentioned villages who wish to be served by this transposer, they can adjust their antenna in vertical position pointing to roof top of LU Plaza, 2 Wing Yip Street and tune into TV Service Channel as follows: TVB Jade : Channel 36 TVB Pearl : Channel 60 ATV Home : Channel 41 ATV World : Channel 57 Please click here for the detailed location of the new transposer. 18 October 2005
