TELEVISION BROADCASTS LIMITED GROUP POLICY ON PERSONAL DATA |

| 1. | Television Broadcasts Limited and its subsidiaries in Hong Kong (collectively or individually referred to as "TVB Group") adhere to the policy on personal data set out below. | |
| 2. | Any personal information in respect of individuals ("Data") which have been collected or may in the future be collected by TVB Group may be used for the following purposes :- | |
| (a) | activities relating to the production, broadcasting and exploitation of television programmes, publications of television programmes guide and Internet web portal operated by TVB Group; | |
| (b) | facilitating communication between TVB Group and the individual and facilitating the granting of any prizes; | |
| (c) | forwarding publicity materials and other information in relation to the business of TVB Group and from organizations selected by TVB Group from time to time; | |
| (d) | meeting any legal, governmental or regulatory requirements in Hong Kong or any other jurisdiction, including disclosure or notification requirements; and | |
| (e) | any other purpose relating to any of the above. | |
| 3. | Data collected from TVB.COM online members, online consumers or visitors (collectively referred to as "Users") may also be used to: | |
| (i) | contact such Users for marketing purposes; | |
| (ii) | conduct research in relation to the services provided by the TVB Group; | |
| (iii) | perform statistical analysis of Users behaviour and interest in any products or services; and | |
| (iv) | notify Users of promotion, special offers or new products information. | |
| 4. | Data held by TVB Group will be kept confidential but it may be provided to :- | |
| (a) | any subsidiary or affiliate of Television Broadcasts Limited (whether such company operates in Hong Kong or elsewhere) and the directors or staff of all such persons; | |
| (b) | any other person under a duty of confidentiality to TVB Group; and | |
| (c) | in the case of TVB.COM's Internet online consumers, the relevant sellers/retailers of the products or services. | |
| 5. | Data collected for any contest, game or competition organised by TVB Group or in respect of application for tickets to show will be destroyed within three months after the date of the event. | |
| 6. | Any individual is entitled to ask whether TVB Group holds data on him and to request access to and the correction of any such data held. A reasonable fee may be charged for processing each data access request. | |
| 7. | Requests for access to or correction of data or for information regarding policies and practices and kinds of data held by TVB Group should be addressed to the following respective Administration Manager/Officer of the company or department which may hold data of specific category of individuals, at TVB City, 77 Chun Choi Street, Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, Kowloon, Hong Kong or in the case of TVB.COM's Internet online members or online consumers, by email to " info@staff.tvb.com ":- | |
